2015: JANUARY

Yup, so much has happened already and only the first month of this year has passed. You can tell by my lack of updating this blog. These are just a couple of photos from my Instagram (kf_ith) to sum up most of this past month- debuts, food, birthdays, youth ministry, adventures.

For this month of February, well .. *walks away* jokes.
There is much that will happen too! Besides birthdays, valentines, starting Uni again. There is this challenge to apply everything that I've learnt from Nazarite Training and preparations for youth. I've been challenged to become consistent with my health and wellbeing, to completing my to-do lists, planning ahead, become financially wise and cultivate my new group TLC. More than ever, I'm just needing to get myself together and to prioritise. Still a work in progress but a progress that I am determined to keep moving forward.

Welcome 2015!

It's already past half way through January and I have not posted yet. Honestly its a mix of busyness and laziness however better late than never right. Already a lot has happened and quite frankly .. I am terrified and excited to see how it'll all span out for the rest of this year. Second year of uni will be crazy(ier), actually taking a leadership role in youth, hoping to get my green Ps (and get better with parking). Seem small but it's been claimed over this year as a year of harvest. So best be getting to sowing for greater reaping!

Update Through Squares

So currently my life has revolved around birthday celebrations, uni assessments, food, YD golden girls and reading. These few photos sum up the past two weeks or so which have been hectic. Hectic in the way that it has been busy with the feelings of stress and joy.

Overall, things are great. Everyday I'm finding more ways and different reasons why my day is 'good.' And I think that we all need to do that, make it a habit to find the good in each day. I know I've said this before but there's this need in this 'me-first' culture for us to just appreciate what we already have. If you're able to buy your regular coffee each morning, see the sunrise, drive, work or study.. appreciate that. Be thankful that you can breathe, walk, talk, hear, see, smell, touch, feel. There are so many things, in fact a million little things, that you can be thankful for.

It's All About Jesus

These photos are my favourite shots from the night. You may be thinking ..'What is REACH?' Reach is our (YD) evangelistic event where we invite those who don't know Jesus to come to meet Him. Our purpose is to not add numbers to our congregation or to get those invited to start coming to church, it's all about Jesus.

The last photo is of the people who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour (+ the friends who invited them). This is a massive step for these young lives and praise God for their courage to step out. It really was worth covering that night in prayer and fasting for it because He did greater things than what we had expected. Again, it was (and is) all about Jesus. And that it what I hope and pray for this world to see. It is not regulations or rules or ministry that defines you as a 'Christian.' What defines you as a Christian is Jesus. How you love Him, how you serve Him and how you reflect Him. We are insanely imperfect however it is through Christ, in His perfection, that we can and are used.

Before you talk about Christ, display Christ.
